Day of Transportation
Transportation will be available to take guests from the ceremony to the reception. After the reception transportation will be available to take guests to the afterparty.

We strongly encourage our guests to make reservations as early as possible. Please keep in mind September is high season in Spring Lake. We have listed a variety of options below for you to book your stay at a place that works best for you.
THE BREAKERS ON THE OCEAN - ROOMS ARE BLOCKED
To book you stay, please visit the website or call the hotel directly and use the code “hughesmcgann2024”. Rooms are blocked for 9/5-9/6 and there is not a minimum stay. If you would like to stay Saturday night there is availability at the general public price. The Breakers is a beachfront hotel just 1 mile from the Spring Lake Golf Club. The hotel offers beach access and a restaurant overlooking the beach that serves Italian fare, seafood and a breakfast buffet. The Breakers offers an outdoor pool, a wraparound porch, a gazebo and a piano lounge. In addition, this hotel is handicap accessible.

THE OCEAN HOUSE - LIMITED AVAILABILITY

CHATEAU INN & SUITES - AVAILABILITY BUT NO WEDDING BLOCK
Beautiful boutique hotel located right across the street from both Spring Lake Park and Potter Park. The Chateau Inn offers tennis passes, beach access, as well as complimentary breakfast. The hotel also provides bikes and beach chairs to be used by guests. Please note this hotel has a 3 night minimum stay.

The Inn on Main is located on Main Street in Manasquan. It is 1 mile from the Manasquan beach and a 6 minutes from the Spring Lake Golf Club. The Inn on Main offers a cafe and an upscale American restaurant with outdoor seating, plus complimentary parking. It is also walking distance to the Church of St. Denis. Please note this accommodation has a 2 night minimum stay.

THE ASBURY HOTEL - AVAILABILITY BUT NO WEDDING BLOCK
This trendy hotel is a 4 minute walk from the Asbury Park Boardwalk and a 5 minute walk from the Asbury Park train station. Other amenities include a rooftop lounge, plus an outdoor pool, and a beer garden with food trucks. Please note this hotel is located further away from our venue but is a great spot if you are looking to explore more of the Jersey Shore. The Asbury Hotel is a 15 minutes away from the Spring Lake Golf Club. This hotel has no minimum night stay and free cancellation up to 7 days before your reservation.

Air Travel
Newark (EWR) is about an hour drive to Spring Lake. We recommend this airport for those traveling to NJ by plane. Other Airports within driving distance include Laguardia (LGA), John F Kennedy (JFK), and Philadelphia (PHL). If driving is not for you, you’re in luck. The NJ Transit Coastal Line has an airport stop that guests can take directly from Newark Liberty International Airport to Spring Lake. Please note you must transfer trains in Long Branch where you will board the second train, typically located right across the platform, from Long Branch to Spring Lake. This train ride is about 1 hour and 40 minutes long.
Train Travel (from NYC)
To get to Spring Lake from NYC via train, guests can take the NJ Transit Coastal Line from Penn Station to Spring Lake.
Please note you must transfer trains in Long Branch where you will board the second train, typically located right across the platform, from Long Branch to Spring Lake. This train ride is about 2 hours long in total.
Ferry Travel (from NYC)
The Seastreak ferry runs from East 35th St and Pier 11 in NYC to Atlantic Highlands and/or Highlands in NJ. Kick off the weekend by grabbing a drink from the bar on board and finding a seat on the top deck to catch the scenic views leaving NYC and the Jersey Shore. Please note the ferry ride is typically about 50 minutes long from NYC to NJ and Spring Lake is roughly a 40 minute drive from the ferry stop at Atlantic Highlands and/or Highlands.
